Cakes by Rachael started in the spring of 2003 when I found my mom's old cake decorating kit.  I remembered how I loved the cakes she made as a child and I was determined to do the same for my family.  I started out with her old shaped pans and made cakes for anyone who would let me!  As word of mouth spread, I have been able to do more custom and intricate designs.

My goal is to make my customers happy, whether that is something simple and elegant or something crazy and over the top.  My passion is to make beautiful cakes and never stop learning new techniques.  I welcome any challenge and truly enjoy taking an ordinary cake and creating an extraordinary piece of art!
